Blu Tac is a reusable putty-like pressure sensitive adhesive developed by Bostik. The exact chemical makeup is a trade secret, however, it does include a synthetic rubber compound with a sort of mineral oil. It was produced in 1969 as an accident when trying to develop a new type of sealant. The tack is non toxic and completely safe under normal circumstances.
